Visiting the Nintendo World Store in New York City

The only place in the world that has all the official products distributed by Nintendo is at the Nintendo World Store in New York City! It is one of the greatest places on earth and you must visit at least once when traveling to New York City. CONCEPT

From the moment that you look at the building from the streets you will fall in love. It will feel like finding a piece of heaven on earth and the closer you get the more surreal the experience becomes. As you arrive at the entrance you’ll notice the golden handles are shaped as Pokéball.

This door to another world and once you open it you’ll find people of all ages and ethnicities sharing their passion for video games. The sound of both children and adults laughing fills the air. You will feel a warmth from within this building since everything speaks to you, remind you of your childhood and why you love video games.

You’ll be able to find all the games you want to buy for your console or handheld devices. Purchasing the products here make it even more special because it’s a unique location. You’re buying it from the official business.

DESIGN

The building has two floors and you can purchase products on either one. As you browse around looking at the merchandise that are on display you’ll hear soundtracks of your favorite games playing over the speakers. I vividly remember hearing Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country while purchasing The Legend of Zelda Hyrule Historia.

I was able to buy official Pokémon Gen 1 starter plushies Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and a couple of other collectibles that I cherish to this very day.

Bought a nice Nintendo 3DS as a gift with Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby in 2015. 🎁

AESTHETICS

Depending on the season, the Nintendo World Store staff organizes the interior according to the season. The people here love video games and while that may seem obvious all the employees are smiling. At the Nintendo, speaking with other intellectuals allowed me to learn techniques from games. Not every employee is knowledgeable about discussing video game design.

The store is filled with people. It’s a delight to take your time viewing the products on display. 🤩😍

I love Nintendo because they create quality video games. They take time to develop art with detail. The end it shows all the passion that they have for creating quality products that inspire millions of lives. The Nintendo World Store inspires all video game enthusiasts.

If you go with a friend you’re most likely be able to have the opportunity of playing some games together before deciding to purchase. It’s always better to be able to share your love for games with a best friend!

The two floors that make up the building create an ineffable sensation. The Nintendo World Store is for someone truly understands and love video games. New York’s has so many iconic locations such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building, and Time square but make it an objective to visit the Nintendo World Store!
