The Netflix for video games on PlayStation
Due to the Coronavirus, I’m stuck at home, and during this time, I’ve kept myself occupied. I’m using these moments to write, watch movies, advance on personal projects, or playing video games. I’ve recently come in contact with PlayStation Now (PS Now) for the PlayStation 4, and I love it.
With so many games to choose from, it’s hard to decide where to start. 🎮😍
Starting the PS Now
PlayStation Now is a subscription service for PlayStation users that allow them to browse hundreds of video games. Firstly, users can either download games to obtain HD quality or stream entire games whenever you want. There are so many fantastic video games to choose from; PlayStation 2 classics, PS3 games, and titles for the PS4.
You can instantly begin to stream games weighing over 50 gigabytes. Players can also download a video game and stream another video game in the background. Downloading video games will give you a high definition experience, DLC’s and more, making the games you want to play the most more worthwhile.
Games like Uncharted Lost Legacy, Sonic Generations, Lumines Supernova, Ape Escape 2, Ninja Gaiden, Metro Last Light Redux are just some of the titles I enjoyed. ☺️
Streaming video games offer you to get a perfect taste of what you’re interested in. Create a list of your favorite games to keep them in a queue to download or stream.
Some games that you have wanted to try for a long time might not be what you were expecting. Press the PS Home button to quit the game and be taken back to the shop to continue browsing.🛍
There is a library of fantastic content that you can enjoy with the push of a few buttons. You can choose from triple-A quality titles like Red Dead Redemption, God of War, Bioshock, & Uncharted, to name a few. You don’t have to get up and change discs or worrying about using up your system’s memory.
A minor inconvenience
PlayStation Now has everything you would want in a video game service for PlayStation players. There are no PS1 classics. With only a handful of PS2 and PS3 video games, hopefully, more titles will be added in the future.
Some games, however, begin to have slow reacting time when pressing buttons. If this happens, it’s likely due to lag and could cause the game to crash. This may occur because of poor internet connection or their servers.
If by any chance you do happen to encounter this problem, turn off the console and start the PS Now service again. I noticed that closing the application wasn’t enough. You must turn off the console for it to function correctly.
These are some of the error messages that appear on the screen. ⚠️

PS Now is worth the shot
Besides that, I’ve had a wonderful time enjoying the PS Now experience. There are more than plenty of incredible titles that you can enjoy if you never got a chance to play them before. Right now, you can get PlayStation Now is for $9.99 per month, $24.99 for three months, or 12 months for $59.99. This also includes a week’s free trial for new subscribers that you can cancel at any time.
So what do you think about the PS Now? If you already have the PS Now experience, have you been enjoying it? What are the things you disagree with the article?
I hope that you’re all doing well, staying indoors, and being safe. Spend time with your loved ones and be thankful for all that you have. I know we’re living in trying times right now because of the Coronavirus, but we’ll get through this together. Remember to wash your hands! 🧼💕
